Today we release the Fairview Pirates "Booty" Beer, which is a California Common style--amber in color and flavah with crisp hops in the finish. Perfect for THiS and any other kinda weather summer throws at us...like maybe some SuNshine. This beer was brewed by Fairview's #1 fan [and occasional rogue player, Ben--our brewer Ben]. MSBC donated ingredients; Ben donated time. Now we are selling the beer to fund these Fairview'ers. Come out tonight--shake yer bootie with The Pirates. Eyepatches and parrots eXpected. Arrggh, Baby.

Panty Peeler Tripel is hitting the shelves around AK and bars in Anchor-town. Enjoy The Peeler on tap at TapRoot and O'Brady's on the Southside and downtown at Humpy's and Cafe 817. Or come by the brewery for a growler or keg to Go while the draft lasts! 22's are available year-round.

Our 13th Anniversary Good MoJo Sour Brown Ale was a HiT at the Stone Sour Fest. Participants paid $6 in the form of two tickets for a four-oz sample. Geez...and we charged $2 fer five-oz'ers! U Anchor-towlers are so so lucKy. The rest of GM is in oak barrels, feeling the LoVe and getting gorgeous for its debut in bottles later this year.

Looks like the next Planet Beer to be released will be Pluto Belgian-style Golden Strong Ale, aged in French oak Chardonnay barrels with Brettanomyces, in late AUG. Planet Beers in 22-oz'ers are available @ MSBC, most Brown Jug stores [throughout Anchorage], Gold Rush [Southside], Value Liquor [Old Seward/Klatt] and La Bodega in the Univeristy Center [mid-town].

Bring yer house guests from hell to the brewery MON - SAT for beer and gear. With nine beers on tap and 18-20 beers in the cooler...plus LoTs of short- and long-sleeve tees [including the new Kodiak and MeltDown labels...and our two new "growler" designs], several hoodies, chick tees, hats, and glassware - we've got plenty to keep them busy for a couple weeks anyhow...and they can take home a bit of AK.
